December is a time for celebration so on a sunny warm Saturday morning, over 30 members descended on The Cedars at Hahndorf for inspiration from a South Australian artist, the renowned Hans Heysen.  Wandering around the grounds of his home, filled with only a few of the artworks of this prodigious artist, and looking at his art tools in the studio he designed, you could almost feel his presence, encouraging and challenging.  Tour guide, Michael, provided many anecdotes of Heysen's long life.

Nearly 50 members attended the Hahndorf Old Mill for a delicious buffet lunch where art, of course, was the primary topic.
